Moscow - Dubai, 2023-2024: 1C accounting systems have long been well known to Russian businesses. However, the brand's expansion zips along, and today 1C services are used by entrepreneurs in various parts of the world. In part thanks to the work of our team.
At the beginning of 2023, the strategic communications agency Job for Arabists launched cooperation with 1C International, a division of 1C and is responsible for business development in international markets ( www.1Ci.com). As part of the cooperation, a project was implemented for the multilingual localization of the 1C:Drive accounting ERP system, first for Arabic and then for the markets of Southeast Asian countries.
A project of this scale required great professional skill from managers on both sides, well-coordinated work and efficiency from translators, and attentiveness and responsibility from editors. Modern automation systems have streamlined the translation process, making it more efficient. The product has been integrated into a CAT system for continuous multilingual localization with constant source code updates.
✅ In June 2024, work on the translation and localization of the Arabic version of the system was completed. A glossary was translated and incorporated, ensuring consistent terminology and maintaining a high level of quality throughout the project.
✅ In July 2024, work began on the translation and localization of 1C into Indonesian.
